Pacific domes partnered with Creative Domes by Event Technology, a company dealing with overall event production in the summer of 2008. Domes were built in Slovakia for the first time as a roadshow partyzone traveling through four largest Slovakian summer music festivals. Each 2-day festival hosted about 30,000 unique visitors to party in our Dome Partyzone.

The partyzone was created by a 90ft dome surrounded by two 36ft domes and was open for festival visitors all through the festival, offering a large round center bar with a DJ tower on the top and VJ and lightning art on the sides of the dome.

The smaller domes involved a chillout zone with activities like Virtual reality motorcycle contest on Suzuki motorcycles, Nintendo Wii, customized magazine covers made out of pictures against blue screen.

The special occasion for which this portable structure was brought in was to send Hollywood stars off to Park City, Utah for the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

The all white dome set the stage for a winter celebration where 30 tons of snow was trucked in to make the Southern California location feel a bit more like the Rocky Mountains.

This promotional event was organized to bring recognition to the “Sundance Express,” an ExpressJet chartered flight that was taking people like Paris Hilton to Utah for the festival.
