Six Billion Paths to Peace launch in Times Square

MARCH 20, 2008

On the first day of Spring, The Shinnyo-en Foundation launched the “Six Billion Paths to Peace” global initiative in Times Square. Symmetry Event Solutions, who produced the event, pruchased a 24 ft. Dome that was designed to look like the globe.

Earth Dome on Military Island

The Dome was set up on “Military Island” surrounded by a lush garden oasis to demonstrate that no matter where you are, or who you are, it is possible to find and create peace. For eleven hours, the “Earth Dome” attracted the attention of New Yorkers and asked them to consider the contributions they could make to create a more harmonious world. This event attracted over 1,000 visitors within the first two hours.

The foundation’s goal is to raise the awareness of six billion people on our planet and inspire them to pledge their own unique “Path to Peace.” To find out more about this, or to pledge your path, visit http://www.sixbillionpaths.org. Clear Dome in NYC

FEBRUARY 19 - MARCH 4, 2008

For two weeks, a clear 30 ft. Dome could be seen at the South Street Seaport in New York City. This was the “Bliss Oasis.”

Warm and Comforting Inside the Dome

The Dome attracted people passing by and drew them into the warm interior where they discovered K Bliss.

This event, open to the public daily from 11am-7pm, was set up to introduce Kellogg’s new Special K Bliss bars. These bars, a combination of fruit-flavored pieces, crispy cereal and a chocolate bottom layer, are the newest Special K snack to hit the store shelves.

As you can see, in order to create a one-of-a-kind marketing tool for the client, we applied logos and branding to this unique clear Dome.

“Spring Wonderland Dome” in Central Park

JANUARY 24, 2008

This winter McNeil Consumer Healthcare kicked off the official launch of Johnson & Johnson’s over-the-counter version of Zyrtec allergy medicine in New York City’s Central Park.

Inside a 90 ft. Dome that we provided, a virtual spring was constructed. The free event featured live music, springtime activities, and even a carousel for the kids. The 6,300 sq. ft. environment provided visitors with a reminder of the spring season and the allergies that come with it.

The idea was to bring about the feeling that anyone, even somebody with allergies, can enjoy a spring day in Central park!
